2015 Golf Tour : Become a pioneer !
June 13-18, 2015
One of our hottest and most exclusive tours !
Become part of history and be one of the first ever golfers to play competitively on the Pyongyang Golf Course.
Our tour is a first in that it covers two days of play : one day of practice, hopefully with and against the best local players, and match play on the second day. The format of the match play is still being discussed. We may have an individual tournament, or a pairs tournament where we hope to team up every visiting participant with a local player.
We will visit the Pyongyang Driving Range and get some good practice shots in before hitting the bunkers, the greens and the trees of the Pyongyang Golf Course.
There will also be a number of amazing cultural excursions to some of the DPRK's most stunning and important attractions. We will visit the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and the Joint Security Area (JSA) in order to better understand the impact that the continued division of the two Koreas has on both countries, and we will also visit Pyongyang's major places of interest. And there will of course also be time to let our hair down and discuss our golfing exploits over a cool drink, at the bowling alley or at one of the fun fairs.
Golf in the DPRK :
The Pyongyang Golf complex is located on the banks of Taicheng Lake, 27km from Pyongyang City. The 18 hole par 72 course covers 120 hectares with 45 hectares of green and is 7km long. The course can service up to 100 competitors at a time and includes a clubhouse covering 2700 square metres, including club shop, restaurant (the best in the country!), conference rooms, games room and changing facilities.
